Installed my jtsvp shifter

    I installed my jtsvp shifter yesterday , I powdercoated the top part silver, a lot tighter shifts

    Good idea to powercoat the top part. Mine is already rusting.

    When I received mine, it was already starting to rust :( For the cost of the shifter, it at least could have been clear coated? Also, I could not use my other handle from Cherry Performance. Bolt holes did not line up :(

    When I got it it was all rusty, so I took some scotch brite to the whole thing, I was going to powder coated the complete unit, but only the top 2-3" is visible

    Mine is rusty too. I was going to powdercoat it black or silver when I put the truck away for the winter

    MY apologies, as much as I pay to have them produced, since we are the only ones that have taken up this job of making shifters, and producing products for the 10. I guess we could charge another $50 and coat the steal shafts.

    For the guys that have never done it, they can't understand that you aren't making enough on a shifter to even cover the cost of the powder coat. I still say the JTSVP-2 shifter was the best mod I did to my SRT10.
