My truck has been missing and I haven't got into diagnosis yet but last night i was thinking about the stock plug wires in conjunction with my Mopar long tube headers. I didn't coat them nor wrap them nor put in any extra heat shields. Would it be possible after a year of heavy use that the heat from the headers deteriorated the integrity of the stock plug wires to the point where they will cause a miss? The missing occurs from 180-210 degrees....on start up she runs good. The stock wires seem kinda skimpy for such a big engine. Maybe its time to yank the manifold and redo the wires to see if that fixes it before taking it to a shop to try and diagnos it.:dontknow:
