Good luck with your build:rock: I spoke with joe today and had some questions about the cam I am installing.. Really nice man to deal with answered all my questions... Probaly be taking mine to him this summer to do a vec III and dyno tune. Oh,and hope me talking to him didn't postpone your build to much:D

Thanks. Joe is one of the nicest people you could ever meet. You'll be in good hands with his tune.

CAM IS IN

The cam is installed. Now waiting for the head work.

Man it hurts to see my pride and joy in this shape, lol.

Congrats!!! Cant wait til its done. Joe sent me another smartcard for the VEC yesterday for the rich tune I had when I test pedal to the metalled the truck. I need to get my stupid laptop working so I can do it with him over the phone.

Looks like it will be time for another dyno guessing contest soon.

PROGRESS REPORT

New cam is in. Heads are done. Intake runners are ported. Intake is on it's way to Justin for powder coating (Clear).

Should have it all buttoned back up and running next week. Can't wait to see how it performs.

Hoping for 550 rwhp/550 rwtrq. Don't know if it'll make it or not. :dontknow:

I hate these EBC greens for dust!! I like yours much better. Hopefully the EBC's will perform at the road course...otherwise I need to get rid of them.

I'm tweaking my tune through the VEC (and Joe) for the altitude out here. Looks like my big drag racing event will have some rain, hopefully it can hold out til late in the day Sunday. I'll be MAJORLY bummed if its rained out

Good luck on your numbers, if anyone can get the 550/550 its Joe :burnout:

My fingers are healed yet, not sure when they will be :nurse:

Not looking to stomp your thread, but I'm considering new brake pads for both my cars.

You're saying Performance Friction Pads make less dust than the EBC's?:dontknow:

TIA:D

PFs make little to NO dust. I tried the EBCs and pulled them back off immediately. They dust way too much for me.
