Yea, that's all I'm asking for anyway. I'm not a drag racer or anything but I do like a fast vehicle but I'm not so sure I even know what 540 rwhp is suppose to feel like.

In trucks this heavy, it doesn't feel as "awesome" as in a lighter car. But, you should certainly know it's got some balls. It shouldn't seem like you are driving a Prius. :dontknow:

Is there a dyno shop around you? If so, maybe you should spend $60 or so and have them give it a rip. At least you will KNOW where you stand. And it's always good to have a A/F (air-fuel) number and know you are safe through the whole RPM band.

Its not just these trucks that killed his reputation. He was long destroying cars like Vettes, Vipers and such many years ago.
I was looking at a Viper Venom 600 years ago way before I got my truck. After a couple quick internet searches and searches on a vette forum, I knew there way no way I would buy that car or anything else touched by "H"

I'm sure you're right. It's hard for me to judge how fast this truck is compared to other cars I've ridden in with less horsepower. Maybe this thing does put down 540 rwhp but I sure can't tell. I'm sure someone who has owned an SRT10 might tell me differently. Who knows. I still like it

One thing you have to remember is the weight of the truck make's it feel like it is not going that fast.( Compared to a 3200 lb vehicle ) But for sure get it on the dyno.

wow you guys are some haterz i live 20 mins from henneseys shop and all there cars and trucks are beasts!!! all the ppl that i have talked to that he has worked on there cars have nothin bad to say other than they love there car! im sure he has had his ups and downs but really yall hate him that much?? not that i care just had to let that out lol (flame suit on)

I have no hate for JH..he has never hurt me....but every forum I am on..LX, SRT8, Viper....he has a terrible reputation....aint gonna touch mine...too much smoke out there...

John Hennessey has a great magazine following.

I found his customer service to be nothing more than alott'a BS and little if any action.

His prices are about double for even the simplest of mods.

We have a guy named Walt whose history of bad experience with JH is (accounting-wise) into the red zone for nearly $100,000.00 ....

I doubt that anyone here is going to change JH's hat to a white one anytime before the return of The Messiah.

IMO JH should be in prison under the watchful eye of Joe Arpaio.... 30 to life sounds about right to be.... I believe that he's a f**kin' fraud.

If I had spent tens of thousands at his shop I'd be very enthusiastic about him too. I'd be looking at the brighter side of things when something goes wrong and continue to TRY to see the cup as half full. But since I know I won't spend a dime at JH :dontknow: I don't care either.
