Hey guys, I am brand new to the forum, but not brand new to SRT's. My last auto was a SRT8 Magnum. Anyway, here is the breakdown, just bought a 2005 SRT10 QC sight unseen (had it inspected) and it is on its way to me. It has 29k miles, one owner. Anyway, the truck is bone stock, as far as no aftermarket mods. My question is what are the first few mods I should buy? I have read about "flash", but not exactly sure on what that is, as it seems to be different than "flashing" the PCM, like I did on the Mag. Anyway what else do you recommend. I hope it is not a turd off the line like some guys on here have mentioned theirs is bone stock. Also, how does it compare to my SRT8 Maggie as far as power???

Thanks for any input, glad to find such a great forum!

Welcome to the VTCOA from TN....I am also a former SRT8 owner...Charger...The B&G flash you read about is similiar to the B&G flash for the SRT8....it is a must for the QC SRT10...big diff in power on the SRT10 QC...almost a second faster in the qtr....

hey thanks for that info! Is this something I simply take to the dealer and have them flash it??? What other mods do you recommend guys??

No, You go thru a vendor like DC perf or you can contact B&G Chrysler direct.....exhaust would be next..these trucks react much better to a free flowing exhaust than the SRT8....20-35 horse hidden in the SRT10 exhaust..

the best flash IMO for the quad cab is DC's flash, it can be purchased only through DC directly or myself. that is the single best mod for a Q.C. the next mod would be deleted the cats. you can do this a couple of ways, buy a header back system with cat-delete mid pipes, or just buy a set of mid-pipes. JMB Justin (also a vendor here) sells a nice set of mid-pipes. those two mods alone will really wake your 10 up. and then ofcoarse a cat-back exhaust.

Welcome to the Red Button Club! Talk to BOOMER on here...he is THE man @ X-METAL Eng. and can hook you up with a stage II pcm and 170 T-stat.

Get your wallet ready...there is tons of stuff on here you will want...my truck was stock until i found this site!:D

Your srt 8 i gonna kill the QC sorry ;)

first mod call Justin and get a Cold air intake, your choice of colors, next magnaflow exhaust, better sound, then a flash, contact B@G quick turnaround or moparconnection.,
Any extra emblems Dragon is the man, decals, Texas yellow fever.
then go for some catless mids, and then long tube headers, you should end up around 470 or so to the ground
stock they average 420 ish to the ground.
then go for the gusto, a Roe or turbo power:rock:

the stage II flash is a must for the QC....you will definetly feel the difference...cograts on the new ride........
