Did a few things over the weekend. Tinted my tails, blacked out my ram emblems and painted my headlights. Next will be the 04/05 SRT-10 badges, which will be painted black. (thanks to REPOMAN1)

Thanks guys! Headlights were a real PITA!!! The tailights were extremely easy. I think later down the road I am still gonna get the projector blacked out headlights for her. Plus I will (hopefully soon) be ordering the black viper emblems.

i did my taillights and i couldnt make em look right and had to go darker to make em look better lol. Did you head the headlights to open them up?

Well, I think with yours the reason you had to go darker is because of your black truck. With black vehicles it seems that tinted tail lights never look right until they are completely tined. With mine being a red truck, I didn't have to tint very much. Yeah, I baked my headlights in the oven. The whole process was pretty difficult involved a lot of swearing.

yea your probley right. Mine are VERY black lol.

Oh im sure there was quit a bit of cursing involved lol. I did it one to a civic of mine

And thanks to REPOMAN1....I was able to add a couple more things today. Painted them (the easy part) then placed them on emblem tape and cut the excess tape off with a razor. (total PITA!!!) Next, I will be replacing my damaged handles, thanks to BRAT. Then, I will be taking care of those wheels. Had thought about gunmetal, but I think black would go best with the way I have it now. Thoughts? Thanks!

I am always down for a little meet and greet. Always eager to snap a few shots as well!

you have asked for thoughts,,,so dont get offended.

But IMHO, black has been done, it is played out. dont get me wrong, it looks good, but there is alot out there. I think you were right the first time with a gunmetal or carbon/charcoal color. look at the difference between a black truc with BLACK wheels and a NR that has the slightly lighter than black color. looks totally different.

TRiple black wheels just take all the depth away from the whole look of it. these are justmy opinions though, now matter what i think it will look killer:aetsch:

I asked for honest input and I appreciate any I can get. Do you think gunmetal or something equivalent on the wheels would go well with everything else currently on my truck? I don't like bright colors or anything "flashy"....just my personal choice to keep it dark. Thought about maybe a two tone on the wheel with two darker colors or something. I like flat colors best but thought about doing a flat/gloss on the wheels.

Have Eddie dip them, he can do up to 22" wheels! I think that would be different and bad ass!

not under standing the black SRT badge on a black grill/ might consider painting just the "SRT" inferno, to me it would be like putting inferno badges on the doors, and cover that ugly ass amber strip on your headlights it would clean up the front of the truck a bit more
