Morning gang,
Well a progress report is in order (hope your all not completly over this BS yet).
We both have multiple MD appointments today, so I got the day off work.
Speaking of work...can you believe the Fire Department let a jackass like me handle the Accredidation :dontknow:
cguru:
Your tax dollars "hard at work"
honestly though.... I have to say Dawn has improved, however slight...it's
an improvement. She has been driving, and getting out to the grocery. She finally got the chance to use one of the gift cards she got from Mom for Christmas
so she had the chance to go shopping...(most of it went to groceries) She paid for it later, she was pretty sore...but she got a three hour day out of it, and she was happy to get out of the house. Cognitive progress is a constant, and not an issue. Her back is still mottled, and I believe it will be a permanent reminder of this entire event.:dontknow:
To date talking to a lawyer, or getting a call back is right there with the sighting of Sasquach :dontknow: I get the impression they are not impressed, and I get the feeling sometimes, it's not worth the journey:dontknow: I am getting tired of all the insurance paperwork, finger pointing/excuses, ect... then to involve legal council:banghead:
I understand now why people give up after all the time you have to put in trying to get things right. Brutal. I have certainly learned, that mistakes come easy....fixing one is not.
Dawn get's her PICC line out Tuesday, then next week should prove interestinng, as we meet with the surgeon one more time. I knnow he is well over this event, and I expect him to "clear her". He also wanted to skip the PT when we were there the last time...and just let her go.... that's when it was apparent he was over it. She must have PT, so she can get some core strength, balance, and endurance. She still has fair ammount's of pain with movement, and is fatigued easily after "minimal" (up to three hours) exertion.
I got to run, I have PT @ 09:00, and an MD appoinntment at 10:10... I will continue this when I get back, and have time between mine and Dawn's MD visits.
