I missed the truck. It was in the shop for 2 weeks so the drive was like the first time I drove the SRT10.

Hey Mike.....its supposed to get down to 69 degrees on Friday night, so I would suspect it will be in the mid to low 70's by 9 pm and NO 30MPH Headwind like Fontana!!!!! We might even have a small tailwind so you could set a new record.

heres the bad news....9:30pm still 83 degrees....will be 80 at 10:30....but even worse is the B. pressure ....29.64".....= terrrible D/A....4000'....no records tomorrow.....

Hey Mike I don't trust your weather report. As an example I can leave the house at 7pm and my truck reads 102 degrees and by 7:20 and 20 miles later at Famoso out among the irrigated fields it reads 84 degrees. I guarantee it will be in the 70's by 9-9:30 plenty of time for 2 runs with a nice cool down. That last run at about 11:15-11:30 it will be nice and cool. I just hope the starting line is decent!!!

Your weather report is probably for Bakersfield and all that heated concrete in the city. Its amazing how rapidly it cools as you are going out the Porterville highway to Famoso Road!!! Come on Mike I'll even run you......if you spot me 2 seconds!!!

I would love to but I am going Mammoth this weekend. Are you guys sure this is the last event looks like there is a lot of open days in Oct and Nov? Anyhow I am going to just wait for the Alternatve motoring private days later this year like Mike. The track prep always seemed really good.

Sure Brad.. I'll be babysitting my Granddaughter from 1:30 till about 5m so I'm going to try to do most of my truck work in the morning..then tires and such after 5:00....call me on the way in and I'll give you directions to the house. I'm freeway close!!
