Don't know if anyone has used ebc slotted dimpled rotors with red stuff pads before just wondering if they are really good or is there something better. I have glazed over my front stock rotors doing stop light to light races. Lol

I have the ebc rotors you're talking about. They are great. I have the yellow stuff front pads and hawk hps out back. Awesome bite.

If your OE rotors are just glazed and still have plenty of metal just resurface them and swirl cut the surface, mine were like a mirror so the fronts I cut and rears had to be replaced, used Raybestos performance line($63 each on Amazon), and used EBC GreenStuff 6000 pads and so far so good. The OEM stuff is good but the OE pads glaze the rotors easily and make all kinds of noise.... Good luck, refinish your calipers while you have it all apart.....

Sounds good I will have to look around town see if anyone can turn them down for me.

I wish these trucks had some sort of brake distribution. Mine shimmies badly if I have to nail the brakes and i'm going 60mph+

Need to get V-rated tires next time though. Nittos suck!

Something is wrong then, that's not normal.....Even for the pig ass quad cabs...lol

no... he is talking about taking the glaze off with something like a scotch brite pad on a die grinder...

Actually I am saying to cut them then swirl cut them as long as there is enough metal to cut, mine were like new but glazed really bad.

Yeah my rotors look like they are stock not really sure if they have enough metal left. Would have to take them off and use a mirco. Problem is I am on a road trip and still about four week out till I get back home. Might have to suck it up and pay some garage to turn or replace them
