Los Angeles To Sacramento Convoy May 8th 2009

Cherry Performance (Ron) and I wanted to schedule our convoy to Sacramento.

Since the 2nd Annual West Coast National GTG in Sacramento is around the corner I wanted to start with the plan for the convoy only.

Time to meet up is 12:30 pm on Friday May 8 at Denny's in Santa Clarita of the 5 freeway opposite from Magic Mountain. Here is the address.

If we leave by 1 pm we should be there by 8 - 9 pm. (400 miles). If anybody wants to meet up on the way please feel free to call me on my cell at 323 896-3281. Ron will also post up his cell as an additional number to call. I will be video taping parts of the trip up to Sacramento.

Put down your name if you want to be in this convoy. Even if you are North of the meeting place then we can always meet up on the road on the way up. Post up your cell if you want beside your name.

Another route that would make meeting up with people coming from the east would be to take the 14 (from the 5) to the 58, into Bakersfield, then take the 99 from there.

Would love to leave earlier but I just can't leave any earlier due to my job. I took half the day off to be able to go. Besides you can always meet us in LA at DC Performance.

Truck is still at DC Performance. Don't know the full prognosis yet. Jerry(trainman) told me he will join up with the convoy when it passes Bakersfield.

Brad (LoveThisTruck) and I are going to meet in Bakersfield@ about 1-1:30pm and meet you guys on I5 @ 58 at the Dennys , we will be there by 2 pm at the latest...from there Sacramento is about 3.5 hours, 4 tops.
