LoveThisTruck's engine build

o defiantly, I thought it was a waste, but just driving around it keeps the blower cooler. Then when you tip into it you get the cooler blower, if only for a quick min. Then it's useless until you drive around out of boost for awhile.

It looks cool as hell though!

Looks very cool:rock:

Damn they made you a HUGE ONE!!!!

IMO since it's only cooling bypass air it wouldn't need to be that big, but you definitely will never need a bigger one!

ART's attitude is do it right the first time can't you tell lol:D  :marchmellow:

So happy for you...careful at first...then:

Drive it like you stole it!

Well, I don't think I could be happier:D Pulls very hard, very smooth. and sounds great. I didn't get a chance to take any pics tho... she's not exactly clean after the road trip:eek: I'll take care of that this weekend, along with the last break-in oil change.

I gotta question... can the clutch pedal be adjusted? or is something wrong? Mine only engages at the very top... like the first inch:dontknow: and I don't remember it being like that:confused:

Thanks for the kind words fellas:marchmellow:

mine also engauges late.. i guess thats where they like to set them up?.... i've checked the fluid an every thing checks out so i dunno

Brad's is all good, almost ready to get yours back in here and get it right. Don't try to get Brad too fired up; I fired the builder that did your engine thanks to your problem, Brad's was built out of state by a MUCH better shop.

Brad, a few pics here for ya since it will still be a while before you see your truck.

The cooler works great. 25 degrees between inlet/oulet at idle without fans on. After a drive you can actually put your hand on the blower!

DW

Has anyone ever seen this A/W cooler? This one would make the piping alot shorter and would work well in conjunction with blackviper's in-development intercooler for the Roe's.

is the pedal soft?? you might just check to make sure you don't have any air in it, mine engages almost right off the floor.

I wouldn't say "soft"... it just engages high. I'll check it

Robert, I don't see any benefit to cooling ambient air with this sytem. How would you use this setup?

This would be used to "chill" the bypassed air. Since you will already have A/W with your new intake this would just be one more hop before the water goes to the heat exchanger up front. Thus keeping the air cool at all times in all situations.
