Guess I'm different? I can't stand that straight pipe, redneck popping sound. Again though, if all our trucks sounded the same it would be boring
I like the deep tone and rumble mine produces

Yes, I forgot to add that deceleration popping can be somewhat tuned out, but it is mostly from straight through, Glasspack style mufflers, whether encased in a big case or not. Any long or short, stick type muffler will sounds raspy/poppy

I don't nitpick on what mine sounds like, I got an 11.56 timeslip and that popping you hear means you lost.

Don’t know all this stuff you guys are talking about but VENOMOUS1 did my exhaust from engine to bumper and it sounds so good to me I love to use my remote start just to hear what everyone else hears. He even did a drive by (4 passes) after he finished the work so I could hear for myself what others hear as I blow by them. Ask him yourself, I do blow by a bunch of folks as I believe the throttle body he installed seems to run its best at full open so most folks get to hear what I seldom hear.
I passed a young lady last week that was driving 45 or 50 mph on I-45 and when I lowered the boom to pass she got the full blast of the sweet sound. The poor girl got a whip lash turning to see what was about to eat her after hearing my exhaust. Take my word; Dr. Viper does know his exhaust. :rock: Could be from all the burrito’s he eats. :dontknow:
