March Meet Famoso Raceway in Bakersfield
We are asking for a little help,

Spent some time talking with SRTBrad & Whitesnake tonight. Brad will be attending "March Meet" with Press credentials with the help of Michael and John the two brothers that own M&H Tires and the website the foat. Michael & John got Brad the an all access media pass for the entire 4 day event. It will cost him around $1000 in expenses for 4 days between Hotel, Gas, Food and drinks, MiniDV tapes, Batteries, etc etc... Trainman will be kicking in between a $100 - $200 even though he will not be attending. He is doing this for the VTCoA.

Brad will need to generate around $900 more with Trainman's sponsorship to cover the entire event. Brad is currently working to get someone else to help him at no cost with the video to get a better 2 camera shot of the event. The second person if given media access will not be more than another $150 for just the basic expenses.

So the goal is to cover just Brads expenses to video this event. Eddie is providing the paypal account [email protected] Eddie is also helping at getting this done.

Brad has some "Mad" skills when it comes to putting together video and he will be a great resource to the VTCoA with future events at getting the Viper Truck Club of America more recognized as an organization.

If this is something that you would like to help contribute to, please do. I'm sure if you have any questions, SRTBrad can either answer them through PM or publicly.

I know this is short notice as the Event is March 7-10.

Thank you for your Time

Jeff

Thank you Jeff for posting this on my behalf. Videotaping one GTG from time to time is one thing but to record an entire 4 day event which means 5 days including prep and driving time for me is just a little more than I can handle on my own. This is a very unique and prestigious event that I believe could benefit the VTCOA and any other forum that would like to contribute. Yes I'm looking for sponsors from all forums that are interested. I will make the video property of all the forums that sponsored the video and can be used for their promotional material if needed.

I will need to take yet another 2 solid week of editing to make it a complete video. This event will probably take a good month of my time full time if not more. This project will take an incredible amount of time. I'm happy to do this and am looking forward to covering the entire event if possible with sponsorship.

Eddie is one of our brothers and considered one of my very good friends (Whitesnake). He will be taking up the paypal collections since I don't seem to have my own. Eddie will also be buying VnmPwrd in the near future as well!!!!

All members please feel free to call me, pm me, or email me with any questions.

Other than a few people that are willing to help I don't have enough support to make this happen this year. I want to give a big thank everybody that had been willing to help. I will be officially calling this off now.

Sorry Brad

Brad, I think we would have had a better chance if Jerry would have been there and running
