I missed this post somehow......were you using the oem viper hydraulics?
Yes, I had the factory Viper Car hydraulics, melted a couple of slave cylinders, then the last time at the strip ....the master "BROKE" out of the firewall.... I had very HIGH pedal pressure....all fixed now!
How does jtsvp's master cylinder make it easier to push the clutch in? The throw from the clutch pedal lever remains the same. It's the same leverage. I don't understand.
Arrest, I don't see how the gen 3 makes a difference unless your old gen 2 master cylinder had an issue. Maybe I don't understand something.
I'm going to try a new fluid in my trans. Local knowledgable trans guy said my clutch seems to be fully disengaging.
He said it goes through the gears fine with the motor off. And it never grinds going into gear. We will try a different trans fluid then go down the line until i like the results.
