Trying to get a count of what people i might see on the roads around here. Havent seen any this month. I am in Waldorf MD, and travel up 5/301 to Andrews AFB daily. Where you at?
I'm in glen burnie, RT2 area.
Lol, im one of the few that enjoy my truck everytime i leave home. If i wanted a weekend warrior garage queen i would have gotten a viper.
Starting this week i will be working only 143 days out of the year, at 24 miles round trip. So thats only 3600 miles a year. Any of the other commutes include my daughter and wife, so this two seater only gets the driver seat occupied.
my round trip is 8 miles
but I have found out, when you don't drive the truck everyday. It feels so fast when you get back into it :rock::rock:
Big difference going from a 140 HP Jetta to the truck, WOW
true that. i used to go from a 1995 cutlass (work car), to the 10 on the weekends. makes you appreciate it that much more. damn i miss that truck. i got another murdered vehicle i am lookin at right now, we will see what happens
I'm in Woodbine (out I-70 towards Frederick)
GB like ramdude and BADSNAKE is around us to idk if he wants it out there so I will just say he is about 10 min away from me.
oh he lives by us ? damn. I have never seen that truck.
I seen a silver one before. but she was stock.
Wish i was closer id love to hang out and make some new friends!!
cool bro, I see your sig K&N is that the filter or intake.
Just the filter. I have been a lurker since I joined back in August - just reading and taking in all the information I could from all of the older posts - as well as the newer ones too, LOL. I was going to get the intake at first, but when I read Tony's (JTSVP) earlier advice to another member regarding intakes and to spend money elsewhere, I took heed.
My next batch of purchases will be mids (from JMB), thermostat, and an SCT tuner. From there, traction improvements then maybe some bling, and as needed clutch (upgraded), brakes (upgraded), and ....
When I bought the truck, I told myself and the boss (read: wife) that I was not out to build the baddest truck in the neighborhood - chasing that last half/tenth/thousandth a second in the quarter; just one that makes a respectable showing (in my mind) for what it is.
Sorry for ramblin' - LOL.
