Is pretty much everybody in the list bringing their truck?
I think so. The folks I've talked with are looking forward to getting together and convoying up there and back. That's going to be a big part of the Nats GTG.

hey guys just kicking a few things around, as hard as it was to get the trucks in and out of the tent last year would it be better to get a tent that we all could sit under and congregate also at least one night we ought to cook burgers and have chips around the tent that would make it easier than trying to get this whole group in a restaraunt. we cant go without the wing eating this year. round two of the ken and izzy show. agree with kevan on the gate too. that'd be way to cool also on keeping bone off the scooter, he looked like mikey and kramer had gotten a hold of him.
Mister Grass Burnout talkin' about the tent...that's classic! LOL (Gotcha!)

The tent pole spacing was an issue, but one we worked around. It'd be nicer if we didn't have to do that each time we took the trucks in/out, but....it's a small problem compared to: RAIN. :)
Maybe they have a tent with different pole spacing.

I like the idea of doing a cookout at the event with everyone on one of the nights (then head to the cruise(s)). We should check the times on when they kick people out of the track area.

NO SCOOTERS!!!

Awsome!! thats what was hoping for, Im bringing my truck. Havent done a GTG like this before Im gonna be like a little kid on Christmas Eve.

We did cook some for the group, but people still seemed want the 6 dollar burgers. Who knows?

I still have a scar from my wreck on the scooter! lol I was going to wrestle Roktman later, but then considered it unwise. :D :star:

Maybe we should just take control of the area in front of the tent, like other carpetbaggers were doing, and use the tent for social area and food?

There wasn't much 'pole spacing' between Mikey and Shawn in the tent area!

I'm going and cant wait to meet u guys. This year it will be an awesome experience. Hope to make lots of new friends.:)

I'm in! Just me. Spousal unit has to work to finance my trip to Nats and a week on the Power tour!

Im in too..reservations made..cant wait..
Just outta curiosity, and since the Nats site isnt working for me, does anyone remember the cost to bring your truck in?..Im not racing or anything, and last year I left it in the parking lot, so I thought I might do the tent thing this year.

if i dont have the challenger ready in time i can bring a grill big enough to cook for everyone, its a gas cooker its big enough to cook 60 whole chickens in about 2 hours better than the ones we had last year at the tent next door. or we could do burgers or steaks. whatever floats everyones boat. hell a couple of weber grills will do too.anyone heard from our boy blue, havent seen him around in a while

Hey Eddie,

I'm still here, just haven't posted much since going back to work, I'll definately be at the Nats for sure... haven't missed one since probably sometime in the late 80's  ... I brought 6 cases of beer last year, doubt that's enough for the head count that we've got going on this year... Any kind of cookout sounds good to me, under the tent or one evening, or maybe both :D :p :burnout:

$65 If you pre-pay, the site said last year if you didn't pre-pay it was $80, however they charged us $90. Go figure. :dontknow:
Admission each day with your truck and you could race (or not, didn't change price).

The max anyone paid was Doneo with 140, but I don't remember his details on what he paid for at the gate.
