Mopar Nationals 2007

heath was more fun than brice road, somewhere close to there would be cool, its not that far from the track.

I am staying at the track exit (Rte 37) in the Red Roof for Super Chevy next month.I`ll find out the policy on reservations.Prolly open it op the first week of JAN like all the other Columbus hotels. That would be like 8-10 miles from Heath.

I will be there again. i took my wife there for our honeymoon in 1986 and havn't missed one since.

Well lets twist kevan's arm, to go find us a hotel that will block off a section of rooms for us. Im down for where ever.

I am a little slow. I would love to be there next year. Where are they going to be? Gotta start planning now.

Me and the Spousal Unit will go to one national event next year, that's my last word on it. It'll either be this or the Vegas GTG thaqt we've been talking about. I'll try to do both, but I'll commit to one for sure...

Well Steve commit to the Nats bro, were working on the vegas thing, but after talking with a few membors we think th Nats would be better centralized and also affordable to most compared to vegas.

I want to put one thing out there for most.
most of the women dont appreciate the noise and hell raising of Brice Road and heath, so think on this. The men may be happier if we stay somewhere a tad away from these things. Especially since everything is not more than 20 minutes from everthing.

There are a few hotels that have potential in Heath, OH:
  • Holiday Inn Express
  • Quality Inn
  • Hampton Inn
With enough folks, I'm sure we could get a decent group rate on rooms (minimum is usually 10 rooms per night).
Then all we need to do is slip a few cones in the parking lot to block off spaces for the trucks. :)

I'd be happy to help out with the 2007 event. Let me know.

There is a place that comes to mind.... It is top notch for EVERYTHING. Plus, the girls could SHOP to their heart's content, right out the front door! The area is EASTON. The Place is the Hilton.

This hotel is right off of 670 in Columbus. It is maybe 30 Miles from National Trails.

It is the PREMIERE shopping destination in Ohio. This place has everything to keep your "little lady" busy for 2 days.... PLUS! There are TONS of things to do there at night (bars, great restaurants, bars... etc.) I think this would be a great place to gather. :dontknow:

It's also VERY easy to get to Easton from Heath:
-Route 37 North....left on Morse Road.
-Follow Morse Road until you see the Easton Mall on your left.
Done.

For the guys:
A huge, brand new Mercedes dealership is opening up there. It's probably the nicest one I've ever seen. I'm *praying* for a McLaren-SLR to be there for the grand opening. :)

For the single guys: Easton is MILF heaven.

The bars there kinda suck (a little up-ity for our type of gathering). The restaurants are good, but there's always a massive wait.

Also note: Parking at Easton SUCKSASS.

All that is TRUE.

BUT!!!!... The Hilton has it's own parking. :D I have stayed there many times, and they have always taken care of me. :dontknow:

I am doing my best to make it....depends on when we C.O. the building! Is this solely a spectators sport or will we get to make some 1/4 mile passes?
