MOPAR R/T

My heart and origins started with 68 Dart and 440 Chryslers. The real fun came with my 96' Dakota.

Fairly rare with the 5.2 / 5 Spd. manual and sport tuned suspention (added full poly bushings). With a few mods like custom cold air feed, K&N, mallory ignition and coil, Mopar performance computer, cam, 170 t-stat, 92-93 magnum 2 1/2 exit flange OEM manifolds, full dual exhaust, and a 3:55 posi rear it was one ANGRY little truck!! Could run almost 14 flat in the quarter in the low to mid 90's.
:chain:
I sold it with 200,000 mi. for 4K.

Of course, when I obtained my Ram SRT-10, I did not miss it as much!!;)
That was a nice looking truck, I've been looking for one of those body styles to maybe drop a Hemi in.

Allow me to share the only Digital picture of the 68 Dart I used to own.

I painted it 1989 Chrysler Black Cherry w/ Clear coat.

The 68 is all time badass.....the 67 is a unibody car and unlike that gorgeous ass 68, the 67 is a POST car.......we notched the floor pan 2 git it through windshield hole.....well anyways it ought 2 B a fun build.....

Thanks Guys... I had alot of good and fun years with that ride.

Bought it for $1,000 when I was 18. It was in an old man's garage for 14 years.
I went through everything on it except the short block, transmission, mint interior and Vinyl Top.

Good luck and have fun with the build Andrew:rock:
