The REAR AXLE location is achieved by T45 trailing arms, like the front radius arms these trailing arms prevent fore and aft movement of the axle while permitting vertical movement. Lateral movement on the rear axle is prevented by a T45 Watts Linkage. The bars which have been custom built to allow greater travel extend from the right and left hand sides of the chassis and meet at a pivot bracket on the top of the axle casing. This allows vertical movement without bump steer, while axle articulation takes place around the pivot bracket and improves lateral location of the axle whilst reducing roll center height.

So what do you think of the suspension itself? It is kind of a reiterration of the Watts linkage discussion some months back. Seems like this would work under our trucks and it seems funny how good ideas seem to stay around for along time.
I have a 60 chevy pickup that uses the same type of suspension minus the actual Watts linkage. :elefant:
