I know we have a reusable pan gasket but does it ever need to be replaced? Last time I took it off it was fine not cut or anything frm what I remember....the bolts aren't loose but I have a steady slow leak and it drips from the bolts....the gasket stays alittle wet.....is. it possible for the trranny toleak anywhere else like from the cannon plug that goes through the tranny or something else? Since my truck isn't running and I had a drain plug installed I may just take the pan off clean it, re-adjust the bands, look around and put it back on to see if I can get it to stop leaking.....just want to know if I should be looking at anything else that the leak could be coming from while I'm there

My use to leak from gasket a bit . I put a new oil and filter and gasket . And looks like that did a job for me .

Get a new Gasket ,,,they are cheap ----

there is a seal for the selector shaft that does leak and it makes it appear the pan is leaking.

That's what I'm putting my money on cause its wetter on that side and I swear its coming from above the pan seal....I didn't say anything because I wanted to hear others input first;)

Ok after getting under the truck removing the tranny support bar and looking around this is what i see.... Is this a seal or can it be replaced?
