Dam dude..........thats frustrating. Your truck has this bad past history that has creeped up on you..................kinda like a bad girlfriend!!

yeah i know my only thing is if i get rid of it. idk if i can get another one if i trade this one in.. so i donl't know what i'm going to do.. ever since i'v bought the 10 i'v bought a harley an a few other things
 
just talked with the insurence.... everything is lined up...also talked to the dealership..and i cannot say how helpful this guy is. he is trying to help me out way more than he should.. the dealership is not even going to tear down the motor befor the adjuster gets there they are just going to let him listen to it.. so they are pushing for a new motor... and if they get one i'm fileing the lemon laww on it... 3 motors in less than 1 1/2 years......so dodge will get me a new Srt-10 or as new as they can find

well here is what i found out about the lemon law in Texas... it's mostlyused on new cars/trucks but in the event that the problem started with the first owner and continued threw to the 2nd owner... in my case it has....then i can file it as a lemon.... with the 3 strike rule.. this will be the 3rd strike.. and the lsaw says tyhat they will replace it with a new truck.. or in my case as new as they can find.........so as of right now.. themilege has been rolled back on the truck and it's had 2 new motors fixing to be a 3rd and 2 new rearends..an a slew of power steering pumps and otehr hose problems

How can you use the lemon law when you had a mod go bad and lost an engine? Then you built it up again yourself and had a failure. I don't understand what ground you have here.
 
thre 2 other motors.. an the 2 rear ends....an i have more than a foot to stand on... milege rolled back 2 new motors and 2 rear ends put in.. fixing to be a third...as the mod going wrong yes thats my fault.. but here the kicker.. the rod and piston i replaced is not the problem cylinder this time..the the #1 on the motor.. they had to drop the pan about an hour agian so the adjuster could look at it....so i still do not know whatwill happen.... i'm not trying to argue with anybody on here.. but the more info or the more i didg to find info on this truck the more bad info i find.... this turd just isn't polishing out

You're shooting pretty high there. IMO. It's modded, you have nitrous. That's gonna be a tough battle. i've been in this business for 11 years and have dealt with many lemon law cases and only a few of them get bought back.
also the state of texas lemon law states that the problem must occur within 2 years of vehicle being new. the 1st motor was put in beyond 2 years of being new. it looks like it will be tough to get this through the lemon law. IMO

You're truck hasnt had 2 rear ends. i see where it has had differential side bearings and a axle seal and transmission extension housing seal. Who told you it had 2 rear ends put in it?
 
we will see what happends you have a very good point about the 2 year thing...none the less i will be unloading this thing some how..and get a new one... or i could keep this one and just go threw everything...so i don't know.. only thing that realy piss's me off is the milege.... somethings up with it.. the paper work doesn't make sence.. the truck just has a bad rep and a bigger wrap sheet than i do lolh
 
yep 2 goin on 3 starter motors in such a short time. might be a ground prob:dontknow:
 
axle tags don't match up to the stock one....from what i'm told.. and the tech i talked to said it had, had atleast 1 new rear end in it.more than likey 2 but.. id on't know i havent been down there to see what the hell he is talking a bout... isk i'll know more when the adjuster looks at it.... i really don't know what i'm going to do yet..
