I am just wondering what any of our N.A. guys (means no turbo, no SC, and no NOS) traps speeds are?

I went with Nathan (Notahemi) last november to a old bumpy drag strip in our area, but because of my own mistakes (air pressure mostly) i could not get my 60' under 2.22.

I was able to run a trap speed of 109.97 MPH, I was wondering what everyone else is running.

My truck has a B & G computer upgrade, MSD plug wires, K & N CAI, Boomer 3" mid pipes (no cats), Magnaflow cat-back, and 4:56 gears.

They are installed, I just have to re-route my plug wires now to keep them away from the headers. I am also finally installing Boomer's lowering kit, and changing the trans fluid, plus installing the JMB traction kit.

I'm hopeing these things will help my 60'.

Hey Begood You Can Call Dc Perf. and order some thermal products to Protect your ignition wires from The headers.

All stock and I trap around 108-111mph and usually runs 12.6-12.8 most of the time.

go to auto zone and get the fiberglass insulators will help, ive had no problem with mine, theyve been on for a couple of months now. you better get off your ass and get it all done before next weekend.

I thought it was measured over the last 60' of the run or something.

Stock? Holy hell! What am I doing wrong? Best I have been able to do so far is 13.6 @ 104 completely stock. I know I am having trouble getting it off the line but shifting down the track is in the bag. Best 60's I have been able to pull is 2.2's. Need to practice my launching technique I suppose.

believe me it is a fine art. People have said my truck sounds like an auto. But yes BONE STOCK some will say that i have a flash but that is not the case i checked the pcm and dodge reflash it just to make sure. I just recetly put a K&N in the stock box and cut a hole in the front of it. need to take it down the track again to see if it made a difference. oh yea 60 are in the 1.9-2.0 range on stock wheels and tires. i put the PSI down to 16lbs and get them pretty hot, and launch around 4000 rpm easing out on the clutch very quickly.

16psi!!!!!! Why not just run on the rim? That is the lowest I have heard anyone dropping the rear tires.
