I feel the same way ,and....I had one of the guys call me today and he wanted to fly me out....Damn had to take a knee on that one.....I was suprised :eek: That meant alot to me but with Home Depot you have to give at least 2 weeks when requesting a day off....I have not been there long enough to use my vacation yet :mad:

The Wethersfield, CT Hooters is about an hour from Mohegan Sun. The Casinio is out in the middle of nowhere!!

From I-84 East you’ll take Exit for I-691 East (Meriden / Middletown) and follow this for about 8 miles to a left hand Exit, number 11, for I-91 North (Hartford/Springfield). Follow I-91 North for approximately 6 miles to exit 22N-S for Connecticut Route 9. Follow the exit Ramp labled 22S toward Route 9 South (Middletown). Your gonna follow Route 9 south for about 30 miles to I-95 North (New London / Providence). From here the directions are on the Mohegan Sun Website.

Either Hooters (Wethersfield or Manchester) will be 45min - 1hr away up Rte 2. I know the Wethersfield location has been car show friendly reserving a parking section for cars involved in shows or cruises. I can call them and see what's up with setting something like that up. Just would need a estimated count and an eta for our group. So we're talking casino first, then wings run?

Also which route are you guys coming up from points south driving into CT? Be aware that I-95 across the GW and into CT is pretty rough, lowered trucks might have some problem. I find it better to take I-684 to I-84 across CT, it might a few miles longer but WAY smoother!!

They do have parking garages which aren't valet, so that shouldn't be a problem for a photo op. Plus they have a large outdoor lot for overflow and buses/RVs. Really I don't go there much.....define much????
 
Yeah, both locations would be great. I am up for a little cruise. What about Danbury? Isn't that a good place to party up? :dontknow:
