My wife just got home from from the store and some one approached her about purchasing the Q/C only problems is ... its a lease ... how do we go about putting the lease in his name:dontknow: either picking up a Jeep SRT8 or Land Rover Range Rover for the east coast winters :D

TIA J.T.

You'll have to sell it to them for an amount the releases the title from Chysler, or have them apply for credit and assume the lease payments.

The guy is classic car dealer from the east coast .... so i would think that his credit would be fine.:dontknow: he waited for half hour out side the store and could not stop drooling all over the truck .... wants it to tow his boat:) with it what a waste.

. . .Or you he could pay the remainder of the lease payments (one lump sum) and turn it in at the end of the lease term.

He wants to use it a tow pig?!?! BLASPHEMY!

keep it and don't drive in the snow:dontknow:

dont buy a range rover if your smart- i speak from experience! that sucker was in the shop more than we had it on the road- after the 2nd engine we traded it on a 2007 chev tahoe LTZ- we would of gone durango but the look still hasnt grown on me- RANGE ROVER or Land Rover stay away!!!!!

My Wife wants some thing that is a bit more civilized and refined .... and the part of Long Island that we are moving to can flood some times so we need AWD or 4WD ;) and we both enjoy the R/C over the Q/C:D

South Shore, What town? I lived in Sayville for a few years! Also lived in Massepequa, Westbury!

hey JT...

if the guy is a dealer he will know what is in sore with taking over a lease...

as far as the Range Rover...lease it...don't buy....

as far as I know, if you lease with chrysler even if you find someone to assume the lease payments your name is not realeased until the lease is paid in full.

i took over a lease for my buddy one time. i had to apply for the lease and it was turned over into my name quite easilly.
