Thanks all....the vinyl was a real PITA since it didn't want to stick to the wood very well but once we got it down and straight a few coats of clear did the job. She stained the dining table black (along with the chairs) so you can still see alot of the wood grain. She taped off the checkered flag area on the two other tables to paint them and did the "flames" by freehand. I am very happy how they turned out.

well i love to paint and all that stuff. and i have to include some of his truck stuff. so thats what i came up with. ill have more ideas to come up with since ive been putting down ideas for the last couple hours on what i can do. and he appreciates and encourages my artistic side...
