Welcome to the zoo. I have been pulled over more times in my Black RC than any other car/truck combined that I've ever owned. All but for 1 ticket I've been pulled over just so the officers could get a closer look and give me the WOW factor look and then they let me go.

That happened to me when I drove my truck through Vegas when it was new. I thought for sure I was going to get pulled over as the cop just kept creeping on me until he finally made his way up to my passenger side. I tried not looking at him, but he stuck right there. I was doing the speed limit and he just hung in there. Finally I looked over to see just what he WAS doing and he smiled and gave me the big thumbs up and off he went.

I shoulda reported him for almost giving me a heart attack :D
 
To answer some questions;

I don't water the grass because its too expensive for water, in the fall, summer , and spring we get so much rain that the lawn turns green again, so letting it die in the summer keeps me from having to mow it so much.

It doesnt have the wing, but I did get free lifetime Sirius radio!

The original owner was the owner of the local dealership.

I work for the highway department during the week and we get the CHP radio. the problem isnt radar traps, its people with cell phones ! They call in at the slightest thing and dispatch relays the call to the highway patrol. Its hilarious sometimes when dispatch has to relay the RP's ( responding partiy) message to the patrol units.



Dispatch: " northern 813 23103 driver "

Patrol: "go ahead"

Dispatch " Northern 813 23103 driver northbound 101 at metropolitan, black dodge ram , regular cab, custom rims. Excessive speed , speeding up and slowing down, offense bumper stickers, offensive music, flicking nasal mucous on other cars, passenger pressed butt cheeks to window as they passed the RP..."

All day long its like that, I swear people get uptight whenever someone passes them on the road around here.( in a nicer car)

I went for a ride yesterday and I swear people called in on me, but the patrol guy overshot and entered the highway just ahead of me. If he had waited a minute he would have got in behind me and I would have been HOSED for doing 80+ in a 65 (to the delight of the 20 or so cars I had just blew past).

I talked to the dealership yesterday and they said they would fix the passenger side door for me, I think it just needs to be reglued in the proper position and all will be ok

The previous owner was the owner of the local dodge dealership. Not sure how that relates to not having the door sticker.

How do you find out which number your truck is ? Do I need the door sticker for that ?

Anyway, the dealership told me they would fix the door so I am gonna drop her off on tuesday.

Looks like they just need to reglue it.

I love the 500 watt stereo, prev owner bought a lifetime Sirius contract and can't figure out how to turn it off, so I have free satellite radio for now.

The dealership reglued the passenger side door ground effects, they are set perfectly now.

I really like my car in its all original state. Wouldn't that be worth more in the future as a collector's item ?
 
Keeping it stock is certainly the best financial decision. It will sell faster if it's stock and you won't get any more money for a modded truck at all. You need a wing! Nice truck.

Ugh there's no door sticker.... How do I get the build number ?

don't drive yourself crazy with brake squeel if it is bad other then slow stops and stopping at the lights but if it is at higher speeds and quick stops then check your pads, also if your using regular replacement make sure you put a ton of the anti-squeal shit on them, the squeal at low speeds and regular stops is from vibration, and almost impossible to get rid of with oem replacment pads, I went round and round with the dealer until he contacted the engineers and they told me the same thing use better pads. Greenstuff I heard is a good organic. I still have my stock pads next upgrade when I get my truck back, ask stinker about pads. welcome both of you.:burnout: :burnout:
