ramdude, picking up a full second in the 1/4 mile is a HUGE difference on any car/truck, most drag racers are looking for tenths of a second. 12.5's are do able with bolt-ons and street tires in a RC(but it takes pratice) not only is this 11.5 claim the fastest N/A pass i belive it'd be the fastest street tire pass PERIOD of any srt10 ram i can remember. maybe someone else can remember a faster truck on street tires? i know 1QwkSRT ran an 11.90-11.89 on street tires a while back but his truck has a pawton on it.

but take "our trucks" as a whole... to run 12's, then 11's, then 10's... we all now how much it costs, and no matter how many times you tell people, they never understand...

you can make ANYTHING fast with deep enough pockets... it's just easier to make cheap cars faster...

making a truck fast is one thing... making an srt10 with big power fast is a whole different ballgame... and everything's custom, so it costs out the ass...

My sentiments exactly, which is why its hard to make someone understand how difficult it is to go fast in these trucks. Im lucky, I only have about $8k in mods and I'm running pretty decent for a QC.

Didn't all this shit start out because "we" were the one with issues? A stock truck running a high 12 is doable if its a RC, I believe "most" people here know that a mid 11 on street tire with 700 hp on a six speed truck would be a remarkable feat. I don't know of any stock QC running much faster than mid 13's stock.
