This is a cool little program where you can take a photo and set it to the proper size for your forum. The only problem is you have to save the avatar and the go look at it to see if it come in at or below the size (kb) constraints. But it's adjustible. Usually 80% works.Demon 8 said:More questions
How do I shrink photo's and make them usable as an avatar

500snakz said:Venom...do you have atf+4 tranny fluid in it or the gear oil?
I had the same issue untill I changed it out with atf and it greatly improved that.
I am not aware of a built in program that re-sizes your pictures for you. That would be news to me. I thought all avatars had to be 100x100 and under 4.9 kb. Unless your Begood and get to fly the supersized avi.Demon 8 said:Thank you, I will give it a try. I asked because I never had any luck but to my surprise I just played around and it seems like the program being utilized on this site is resizing for me. I tried a few pics from my pics on the computer and they worked fine without any resizing on my part...is this something new or just another noob find:dontknow: :dontknow: :dontknow:

500snakz said:We have a tremec t56 tranny(also used in some gm and ford cars) and they call for the atf fluid from tremec. Only dodge has the gear oil in there. If your warranty has expired, I would try the atf and see if it works better like it did for me. If you still are under warranty, keep the castrol gear oil in it.
I would stay with the gear oil. The atf will void the warranty on the tranny.Venom Power said:Still under warranty for another 24k miles.. I hit 50k this past weekend..
