I wanted to see if this was do able for a HUGH NLOC ( National Lightning Owners Club) & VTCOA could ever do a GTG. Like a friendship day, maybe some track time. I know I have a Red 04 Lightning & BLACK 04 RC. I wanted to see if anyone would be interested in planning this event? We can log on to NLOC.net and add a thread to a forum to ask? Chime in and let me know what you think.
 
I am a 5 year veteran of NLOC (4S FED is my name there....), and of course been on here for a little bit :D :eek: ;) . I can tell you, the folks at NLOC are ENORMOUSLY good peoples. :rock: Close to, if not just as great as the folks on here. :)

I think it would be a wonderful GTG. :rock: :burnout:

I agree with you, I just wanted to see if it is do able.

I have only met two Lightning owners (other than you) that weren't hostile on some level towards my #1900; and one of those Lightning owners is a member here that drives a silver '04 RC too. Everyone else always has some crap to say Sgt. OR they always want to try something. Then when they aren't the victor here we go.... More smack being talked. If this would work I would be interested for a GTG. :hmmmm:This could get interesting.
 
Yes, you are right. However that is what I want to bring to the GTG a simple approach, like we love our trucks just as much. So, i am thinking of some ideas we could have for the GTG? but first we have to see if they will even entertain our idea.

Funny.... I didn't see "BIG WORM" on the member's list over there. :confused: :dontknow: :D
 
We have had some local West Coast GTG's with the lightning guys as well as the Siverado SS guys with excellent results. I love these kinds of GTG's. Hell I just talked with a friend of mine who used to work for Shelby and his son who also worked for Shelby.

They (The Shelby Mustang Guys) might want to do a West Coast GTG with us at Willow Springs racetrack. This would be a welcomed change of pace from the 1/4 mile circuit.

We'll see what happens.
 
Worm they are more than wellcome to attend the panama GTG:rock:

Just have them come here and sign up bro, if we get enough we can have a clash of the titans class:rock: :rock: :rock:

It will have to be a place that will allow us to have enough room on each side.

Clash of the titans Tony? Wouldn't that open up a whole other can of worms with the Nissan gurus?

I agree with you up to the point of going to willow springs. I do not do road race and have not done any road racing. I have talked to Phil (BigAsp) about it, and it seems like it might be fun though.

The problem is the fuel to get there.................trailering at 9-10 mpg at 4.50 a gallon for diesel is the killer. Willow Springs would be 600.00 worth of diesel...............:mad: :mad: :mad:

Bakersfield is 360.00 for fuel.
 
The lighting beside my truck is my brothers truck, he is always on NLOC "Fast Eddie" we were talking about an SRT-LIGHTING shotout!!
now let me be the first to say my truck is no were close to power his truck has, BUTTTTTTTT!!!!! I know there are more than enough trucks on that could
give him a run for his money! His lighting runs high-mid 10s"fully street truck" I'd love to see a SRT-LIGHTING shotout "FRIENDLY"
I know we would both drive a long way to go to that
Im all for that!!!!!!!
