BUT!!! Once you hit the set PSI, the rest gets dumped out the wastegate. I'm sure that engine would be best served with a single or dual turbo setup and probably make more power from the reduced exhaust backpressure.
Like a big heavy ricer wing, I see no actual gain over a reasonable boosted system other than a really gaudy underhood crap display...![]()

The boost regulation does happen at the exhaust end (I could only imagine the bearing wear if it were constantly bleeding out the intake with the turbine screaming away under full exhaust pressure...![]()
