How thick is is from the bottom of the intake to the top where the blower mounts.

i know joe worked on it quite extensively on dales truck with no luck but i am sure something could be done than there would be a lot of big hp srt 10 roes out there i guarnatee it

Part of the difference is the Supercharger. The rear feed flows more cfm than the top feed allowing for a higher peak HP number.

Sorry fellas, I started a new thread. Alot of talk about the lower intake restriction and capability of making more power. Its not so much the flow as the heat problem. With only 15 minutes of cooling with a fan on the blower we saw a 25 HP gain. Heat is a huge killer of power especially if you dont correct with timing. The GT-500s and Terminator Cobras have a cooler beneith the blower and produce more efficent power.
