Well, got a call from mike, and his voice sounded like he was a bullet in a .50 cal :burnout:

1st gear rode to redline, then BOOM :2in1: it went....

The data-logging proved no knock or detonation, just metal giving way to power. Chris from DC was there and all of us were @ home cheering him on, but metal is metal and everything has its limits:rock:

Once the block is torn down we can find out what gave, and its weak points. it was putting out roughly 950 when it went.

Thanks Mike for allowing this to be a learning lesson for us, and it's awesome your alright/ no one got hurt.

Well it had a pretty good knocking sound but they are hoping it is just a valve spring or a lifter. Lets cross our fingers and hope thats all it is.

First run......I trapped at 54 mph.....every time I stepped on the gas the tires simply turned to smoke......

Second run....lowered the air pressure 4 psi....and adjusted the NO2 to ramp up slower......zoooooommmmm....this mother is going to be fast......like a jato rocket man...I was all over the track....and was just messing with it....something went wrong when it shifted into 3rd.......I got out and coasted thru the lights at 112mph.... ....I'm telling you I must have been in the high 120's before I got out....:rock:

A/F is way safe....all is good...... figure metal failure....my guess is a bent push rod.....(Just like Stinker and Jack said)....

Gotta tell you guys....it was worth it.....And you should hear it when the nitrous ramps in......:star:
