Oil Filter Help!

Seal on oil filter = "Adapter" = square o-ring.
Same thing; different terms.

What you're looking for is the ONLY rubber piece on the top of the oil filter.
1. Make sure the new filter has it on there.
2. Make sure the old one is off the engine.

start filling a catapillar 3406E it takes 11 "gallons" and realize on the 8th "gallon" you forgot to put in the drain plug LOLOL
