Start by draining the oil & checking it for metal parts. Also look at the magnet on the drain plug for debris. Found a 1" piece of ring on mine. Then I knew it was all over but the crying. Also that the engine had to come out. You can also cut open the oil filter to look for metal inside. Un Fortunately something broke inside that's why the engine locked up.

Just can't believe it...... I only drive it a couple times a month, change the oil every 1000 miles, I baby the dam thing, I just don't understand what could have happened.
Like I said it's going to be a long expensive summer
any help/advice that can be offered through this process will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Paul
I'll tell you what happened. And there will probably be a whole slew of disagreeing posts to follow...
When you added the blower, you sealed your fate. Do a post search of every engine that has gone puke. The common denominator is the added induction system.
Just sayin'
The oiling system is one of the biggest down fall on these motors and Dodge knew about it too and did nothing. There have been 100's Viper cars & trucks that has lost the number 4 or 5 rod bearing.

Don't buy the only driven by a little old lady back & forth to church on Sunday story.
Yes it's supercharged but it's been built for it. Motor is totaly forged. I had a list of mods at one point but was to long so it was taken down.....as my signature says...lol
I can post again if anyone is interested...ha ha ha
This does not help your problem, but just an observation. A generalization, if you will.
Built motor, "totally forged", supercharged, etc. I'd be on the doorstep of whomever built that motor. You should be driving right now, not dealing with this. The builder left a weak link in there somewhere.
There are guys on this forum with close to or over 100,000 on their trucks and they race them and beat the living balls off them. And they are still going.

336 miles on it last year....26,000 total she's a garage queen...lol

Unless you have a museum piece. Rebuilt to factory specs and never started or driven again. Letting a vehicle sit is bad for it.
The motor was built back in 06 with no issues until now.
