OK I give up, How do you bleed the clutch system?

In the tranny the slave should be spaced out about a 1/4 inch from the tranny, or at least i am pretty sure its a 1/4 inch, you can use a homemade spacer if need be;)

but still the master should still work to a degree:dontknow:

youmay jsut not have the slave spaced out enough to work properly

Try filling the reservoir up, cracking the bleed screw and walk away from it. Check back every 10 mins or so to top up the fluid level. When I put my clutch in I mounted the new master and filled it up without connecting the hose to the slave. I left it for a weekend and then plugged the hose in and did a quick bleed of the slave and it worked perfect. I dreaded having to bleed the clutch after the horror stories but mine went super easy.

Sorry didnt realize Tony already suggested this. Check the picture in post 20, did you install the aluminum spacer that is just to the right of the clutch? Has a big hole in the center and 2 smaller holes for the bolts?

I'm starting to get worried, I am waiting on my parts to do this.:dontknow: :dontknow: :dontknow:

Just put the old slave back in. then well get you set up, you should be fine with that clutch, but a small film of grease on the base of the old slave before you put it back on will help keep the heat down and should last you. How the hell did you hook up the new slave to the Old master:confused:

Its all good though. Just a little frustrated/worried but im more at ease now that i know what i need to do. Thanks to everyone for your help!

That was easy! I realized after we had installed the tranny that the fittings were different. We removed the slave and changed out that fitting and put the one from the old slave on there. Its just a small lock/pin that holds it in. Punch it out and the fitting slides right out!
