Mine are coated inside and outside...the coating is thicker on the inside...there is an article in last months Hot Rod Magazine...check it out...I have no problem with melting.

There are differences in coatings....ceramic not near as good as jet hot.....I think Prof has the jet hot....I know a guy with an SRT8 and jet hot headers...you could hold your hand on his headers after the car was turned off for 5 minutes..try that with ceramic...

Mine are ceramic coated by AirBorne and seem to work fine (the stainless ones on the 99 Ram)

I've been told that "Jet Hot" will keep under hood temps around 200 degrees cooler then "ceramic coating" Is this true??
200 is a huge number...but easily 75 to 100.
