Just to recap... I decided against modifying my QC
. I thought it was just to new and would rather let it "sit " for a while and let my wife drive it. Sort of like a family car.
Instead I bought a slightly used RC where warranty is not really relevant. Something that lends itself to mods more readily and can be taken apart etc..
So i'm gathering parts. SC's Clutches, hydraulics, traction stuff... Building up the "infrastucture".. I believe in a solid foundation. Now Im turning to the rear axle and Im sorry
I missed the group axle buy! That was some deal!
Since this truck will have FI, I have been studying Before and after dyno results. It seems to be pretty clear that power and torque increases are substantial across the entire rpm range. . Given alot of the problems with hooking up and alot of SC'ed 14 sec cars I have been hearing about
has anyone with FI gone up to a 4.10 axle?
My plans for this vehicle DONT include breaking any 1/4 mile times or land speed records... just basic street strip fun, highway driving etc...
TIA
Steve
