I was just wondering how many people are going to Trailor their Trucks or drive them? I've never been to a GTG yet and just didn't know. Never took it on a 5 1/2 run on the Highway before.

drive it your not that far. ive drove mine to ohio to the mopar nats and i trailered it one year when i took a motor home. i liked driving it better.

Drove mine about 4 hours to the 1st Pananma GTG ----If business permits this time, I will drive it there again.

The longest I drove mine on a trip was a little over 3500 miles in 4 days. Experienced temps from mid teens to 100+, not so much as a hicup.

I won't say how fast I was driving

Driving 9 hours up from Miami. Did last September too. Wasnt running the Paxton back then though. Probably wont race, but I'm paying my share of the track day just in case. ;)

If I had to drive 9 hours to go to a g2g, I wouldn't race either;) That's a long way to push your truck when something breaks:eek:

Yea I know it is but i would have to get a couple in:D ...I bet you would to;)

Exactly.

I plan on driving mine 7+ hours and making a couple of passes down the track.
just hope I have it running by then decided to check into that leak coming from headers turned out it was a header bolt broke inside my cylinder head now I'm working 2 1/2 hrs away from home so only have time to work on the truck on the weekends when I get home so.....hopefully I can get it out an re-tap im waiting on OEM Header gaskets should be here by 2morrow my headers from B&B Exhaust didnt line up the first time all that well so im also going to drill the bolt holes on my headers a bit bigger and use a bigger washer and new bolts and thread lock so it wont get loose and leak again.

Driving mine the 9 hours again.... Never went though that many tanks of gas in one day. If I remember, it was 3 tanks there and 3 tanks back. :D

Leaving Tuesday and stopping in Ocala/Gainesville. Then meeting up with some other FL people on Wed morning and going the rest of the way.
There is a thread somewhere with the FL people meeting up.

Found it. http://www.vtcoa.com/forums/showthread.php?t=42933
