when it happens again, the front cover has to come off and the cam gear bolts tightened. the gear is wobbling and confusing the cam sensor. ....my 2 cents

It ended up being crank sensor.

Ditto, he has been so patient with me, probably over 100 calls this last year and always a gentleman. Except for oil change I take the 10 over 130 miles and let the expert do my work. Getting a backup camera and taking to Scott to install. We DO need to help our vendors all we can. :rock:

I believe he has changed both sensors 3 times now. I think... It will happen again....If it does, then the cover will have to come off. StonedMD had the same issue. only the dealership set the cam sensor to deep and made a mess in there!!!.............Then the mods started!!! lol

I'll see if I can round it up for ya. It's hard to believe the sensors are the issue as its basically a magnet, unless they're being demagnetized somehow ? How about tracing the wiring from sensor if you haven't already. Very odd issue

Will do, man it only lasted a day this time. It's very frustrating, I love the truck, but I can't drive it!

Cycle key from off to on 3 time, leaving in on position 3rd time. It'll put codes across odometer :rock:

Part #4727451AA and most dealers stock them
