that took forever to make that list diggin through all the posts lol

No kidding! Thanks for that! It'll make it much easier to figure out who won.

Just got back from PSI. We had a couple of issues to deal with:

The new injectors didn't fit particularly well in the fuel rails. We changed the spacers around before beginning the pulls (mostly to improve spray patterns). By the third pull we had an injector on each side spraying loads of fuel into the engine bay. Thankfully, no fire ensued. We pulled the rails and machined on site to recess the injectors deeper into them, then had some new spacers fabbed to make up the difference in height. Problem solved.

The next pull following that, we saw that we were getting some real boost out of the Procharger. A lot of boost. 18 psi at 6000 rpm in fact. John Edwards assured me the engine would take 12 psi all day long, and 14 psi on occasion. 18 psi is just too much. Called Justin, and obtained the crank pulley size he'd provided. Called ATI and ordered a different crank and drive pulley, and had them overnight them to the shop. Pulled the crank pulley off before I left, so I'm ready first thing tomorrow. Then called the hotel, and let them know I needed my room another night.;)

Oh, and just for fun, I managed to drop my Droid phone for the final time. Randy was kind enough to run me down to the local Verizon shop, and I was back up and running in time to get the pulleys ordered and shipped.

Before we pulled it off of the dyno for the day, John Reed started putting a little timing in, and stopped the pulls at 14 psi (at about 5800 rpm). We hit a peak of 840 hp before calling it a day. The last time on the dyno (um, all the way back in April '09) we had to stop because the injectors Gary Fairy sold me were the wrong impedance. We could only manage 640 hp because the injectors would just quit responding. So, a couple hundred horsepower gain for more fuel and a little bit of timing ain't too bad.

We'll see what comes of the pulley change(s) tomorrow. I'm going to start with the crank pulley, then swap the drive pulley if the boost exceeds 14 psi at maximum rpm. Once that's settled, John can start adding more timing and begin dialing in some water/meth.

Don't touch that dial.:D

I just talked to Eric.

He will post up his results in a bit after he takes care of a few things.

But to answer the big question, the truck performed the way he hoped and planned it would.
