Straight axle like out of a 50 model Ford pickup. Probably will be in front of the radiator so I can stretch the wheel base a little.

body on the frame....

here are some pix with air in the bags and without. disclaimer: not the tires and wheels to be used.

Threw some flat black on the frame and rear suspension. Decided to go with the 327 small block. The big block was going to be pulled from a friend's numbers matching Chevelle that hasn't ran in years but I just couldn't find the heart to separate the car and the engine. Just went with the 327 we had sitting around.

Thats sweet, I want one for my next project. Dont know when that will be though. Im working on the 10, the gmc, and we are switching my brothers cobalt ss supercharged to a turbo. Then I have need to finish the right hand drive conversion on my toyota supra. Also have a 49 chevy, 50 gmc, 52 chevy. The 49 chevy was my dads first truck so hopefully we can build it next winter together. And then theres my baby, the 68 Olds 442. Ill wind up spending more money on it than I will on the 10. So the way it looks Ill be too old to work on it before I can afford it. I envy your rides. Keep progess on both coming.:D

Also the 327 should rock in that thing.

Damn! An Olds too! I've got one for ya! Here is a pic of my grandfather, me, and my father. First one is '89, second is '08. Car stays in the garage at my grandfather's. He and my dad restored it together.

That awsome, is it a 67, and a true hurst/olds pace car? That's thing looks sweet next to the truck. You guys have great taste. My dad has had the olds since the mid 70s, he used to street race it. It's a w-30 car but I don't have the original 400. He run a 350 rocket, and I also have a 455 rocket, but I think I'm going to go with the 350, acouple of turbos and 6 speed. So I guess it will be a 642. 6 speed, 4 tire, and duel turbos.

It is a true 1972 442. 1 of about 220. Original Hurst Pace Car. 455 Rocket with an automatic.

72 cool, I wasn't sure what year they made the pace car. That thing is sweet, definatly something to hold on too!

My daily driver is a 1954 Willys Overland M38A-1. It's a full body off resto and now consists of a 327 smallblock, Dana 44s front and rear, 4:11 gears, T20 transfer case and a shit load of time!! But It's a whole lotta fun!!:D
