quarter mile time

Could my DR kill my top end that much? And how much do you think the shifter getting hung up would cost me? And im replacing the clutch fluid on sunday so hopefully that will fix her.

I would say the combination of the 2 is costing you at least half a second. The shifting concern is what is ultimately costing you the most of that.

When i had torrie tune it i send him all of my mods along with my dyno sheet. I would have figured he would have already done that. Guess ill try again

That rich is getting fuel in the oil!!! Washing down rings and scoring cylinder walls rich when the engine can't burn it all.:D

I dont understand what you mean venomus1..im not very mechanicly sound. But from what i do gather did i screw up my engine by running so rich? English please!!!

It has the potential to cause engine damage driven for a long period of time in that condition. The tune just needs to be slightly leaner which will increase power but still keep it safe, but if Torrie wrote it he knows better than I do. I have a Torrie tune in my truck also.

Seems like you come out of the gate good, but something after that is wrong.

I ran my truck rich for 3 years and never a problem at all, just the factory clutch issues that was all.

You have cal-tracs on the truck ?

You need to buy an A/F ratio Guage which has a wideband O2 sensor that feeds back to the Guage the A/F ratio
Cruise/idle should be 14.7 which means with gasoline that you are burning all air/fuel mixture during each combustion process. Running a tad rich is kinda insurance at Wide Open Throttle (wot) against detonation aka knock aka ping which is harmful to your pistons and rings. A general safe A/F mixture at WOT is 12.5:1. Anything below on an NA engine is leaving power on the table.

Agree... 10.2 is pig rich! Safe is low 12's, high 11's. 10's and you're definitely too rich.
