Admin- if you would like to host them on your server, feel free to edit my links and delete these bottom lines.
I will remove the 2004 manual from my server on 8.14.06.

Kevin would you please take the links down to the service manuals, as these are copyrighted materials.

These are the property of Dodge and are for sale by Dodge.

We cannot impinge on anyone's property. If we allowed this to be posted here it would imply that we condone this.

Dodge has been good enough to let us be who we are and I do not want to jeopardize our standing with them.

This is in no way meant to diminish what you have done.
I am sure it was an act of kindness on your part to help the members.

Thank you for your understanding.

Respectfully, Jack

Oops. Sorry about that.
I didn't know they were for sale items.

I see you removed the links. I'll get it off my server now as well.

Question:
The guys on another truck site have links to them on the front page of their site. How are they offering them?
(I don't want to get them in trouble; I'm just wondering how they're doing it.)

Kevin,

I don't know how they do that.

How long have they been up?

I am old and broken so many things get past me.:D

I totally understand, Jack. I again apologize for any problems.

I'm not sure how long they've been up on that other site. I don't know anyone over there, nor do I frequent the site. I found it via a link on another Dodge truck forum earlier this week.

Jack,

I love this forum. You said it with respect and well choosen words! In the other forum Kevan perhaps would have been banned for violating copyrights...
But is it not the same file in the sticky thread http://vtcoa.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1033 ?

Best regards

That thread has a link to a 2004 manual that does NOT include the SRT-10 model.

if you guys ever need something from the manuals i would be happy to get it for you... let me know i can email you the diagrams, repair procedure, torque specs or whatever you need without breaking copyright laws!!

Bucke77- THANKS!!!!

What we really need is a link or information on where we can purchase the manuals for ourselves. That would be cool.

(Just so folks know: The manuals are 8700+ pages, so I doubt they're actual printed books. Maybe many books. :) The ones I've seen have all been PDF.)

any dodge dealer there about 265.00 bucks for the manuals ...i can probably get you a disk...i check tomorrow and let you know

Bucke77- Thanks, but I'm all hooked up. I appreciate the offer though.

The info was mainly for the other members here. I'm sure they'll be glad to know where/how much/etc.

Considering the amount of material in the manuals, $265 is a steal.

Thanks for the info!

bucke77,

thank you very much for your great offer. I'm looking forward sending an email, when i need help!

best regards

I purchased the complete manual on DVD from Dodge and paid $120.00. Part# description was "servicemanua cd" You have to spend some time going through it as the SRT-10 portions are not exactly all in its own little section of the 8000+ page manual. I've found good info in the regular Ram section.

Just for an FYI in case anyone is concerned

I contacted Moss Bros Dodge in Riverside and San Bernardino California

http://www.mossbrosautogroup.com/ou/riverside-dodge/

I spoke to Mark in their service Department and he is 100% insistent that if my truck is a 2004 SRT-10 it takes 75/140 synthetic gear grease.

I asked several times and each time he was insistent on 75/140 and would not consider any other option I mentioned (75/90 or 90 wt) -

I asked what rear end was in the truck, he didn't know without looking, I asked if that would determine the weight of the fluid and once again he said

"If it is an SRT-10 it takes 75/140" PERIOD END of CONVERSATION.

Guess I will be staying with 75-140

I mentioned the shop manual for the 04 doesn't specify and he still didn't budge
