Recommended Torque Converters....

Well, my Custom made torque converter went south...I am wondering if anyone recommends one...My current torque converter went thru a lot and is good torque converter, I just don't want to pay $1700 dollars again...

You could check with Joe at Westminster Trans. in Cali. I think he has a nice unit for our trucks, that he also did R&D work on.

Yeah..Mine came from him....
 
TCI Transmissions, I think in Memphis, Tn. They have always been good for me and reasonably priced.

Was it one of those billet jobs with the solid one piece back? If so, Joe told me they have never had one returned. They are supposed to be VERY tough.
What stall was it?

That 1.67 60' on slicks likely scared it to death.... :D

Yeah...2800 Stall...It's stalling up to 4000 RPM....It happen after spraying a 200 shot on top of the blower...
