If all Dodge was offering was a QC in a Viper truck I would have never gotten one. I would have concidered it a cool truck yes but I would have thought Man, it could have been so much badder. Thank you Dodge with coming out with the Meanest, badest, Mofo'n truck ever :rock:

Not exactly. My RC has a center seat with 3 point seatbelt and all. My wife and 8 y/o ride with me comfortably. My son can already shift like a mad man. :rock:

I seriously think the perfect truck would be an Rc with a QC auto

I am having serious thoughts about it, not a turbo 400 , but getting the guy that did Nowwhats tranny to build one.

It wouldnt be that hard to convert from a 6 to an auto, since you can actually run the auto without a pcm.

Now that would be a barn burner

just buy bothand be done with it.

the rc is just all out fun, ripping through gears and you can have the tires break loose in 4 gears.

the qc is laid back and just cruisin. put a stage 2 flash in it and you are good to go.

i know it isnt smart but you can run the hell out of the qc and be on the phone and not have to shift.

unless you are slow91 who beat me in a race after my mods while on his cell phone, shifting the truck while navigating down a stretch of freeway with curves.

that flat out sucks

If you use your truck for work and as an everyday driver like I do and live in a traffic jammed parking lot like LA then the QC is the way to go especially if you have more than 1 kid. Mom drives her Hemi Durango and Dad drives the SRT. The kids always wake me up early and ask "Daddy can we take the Viper". I would love to get a second SRT. The RC that is all white with blue stripes for the track. I believe there was only 2 made. Nowwhat tells he he knows a guy that can modify the auto to narrow the gap betwwen the RC's and QC's. Anyways my first choice would be RC and my family's choice is QC. I wear the dress in the family but the wifey is happy therefore I am.

well, as you can see im my sig I've haven the opportunity to drive both quite a bit. I own the QC and my previous roomate has the RC. I have to say forst of all, why are you trying to shift your auto trans like a manual? that's just dumb. 2nd, the manual is not fun to drive at all. I have several fast cars that are indeed fun to drive. Driving the RC to me is clunky at best. it shifts like a school bus and at least of the 2 I've driven, my QC is faster every time at the track. low 14's vs high to mid 13's consistantly. The only beef I have with the auto is the 2nd gear band isn't up to the power. Of course, I do race it a lot.
