Damn, low like mine. Must be an 06 thing.
Don't think so Roz's 06 dynoed 460 with no tuner or anything. The only mod he had was catless.

I've been having the same problem. But it didnt start until after the ported TB, so I just thought it was that, and normal. I only pulled 367 at the dyno. The TPS CAN"T be robbing me of that power. Right??
Bro if that's all you dyno'd you have some serious issues! No dyno will read that low in any weather unless something was seriously wrong!
I have no f'n clue.. It runs fine, doesn't burn oil, doesn't hesitate.. Stumped.

Yes, a bad t.p.s. can rob power.
If it (for example) is only showing 70% throttle opening at wide open throttle, the timing and fuel tables will be incorrect and power will be lower than normal.
And, it won't trip any codes...

Same thing here also, after TB install thats when the problems started. I am going to get mine tomorrow and install this weekend and see if I notice any difference.

Thats the highest HP that I have seen for a stock motor with no tune.
Not beating down Jimi's high #s but dynos are for tuning, not bragging...too many factors can make them read high or low..
you can say it 1000 times larry , goes in one, comes out the other buddy
you can tune a truck and a piano ,but you cant tune a fish
i think you are supposed to can tuna fish!

i know this an old thread but i just stumbled acros it and i have the thing with the indle hang at a red light o sometimes when i rev it up while not moving it takes a minute to come down. it always seemed to me like this was some sort of computer issue. is there any way to tell if the TPS has gone bad or should i just go out and replace it. If i should just go out and repalce it where is it located and how diffucult is it to change out?

It was cheap enough just to replace it. $20 I believe.
2 screws and a wire harness. Took a couple minutes.
If you look at your throttle body, it is the black sensor on it on the drivers side.

FYI, My 05' RC has the TPS on the passenger side of the TB. Opposite side of throttle linkage / cable shaft.

Well your old ass memory sucks!
It is on the passenger side and it is the smaller, flatter sensor above the Idle Air Controller valve. Upon install, you will need to insert new sensor, then rotate to align holes. The potentiometer is spring loaded and will have to be engaged before lining up holes for the 2 screws.

How would one go about pulling the connector off of the current sensor for removal??

Just use your thumb and pry up the plastic tang, and unplug. Really easy, but may be stuck as it may have never been replaced.
