My mustang has been sitting for the past 6 months and I haven't started it nor has anyone else due to me being away from home and it leaking gas from the fuel tank sending unit. So for fear of the worst and the safety of others I let it sit.
My question is: can I simply get in and turn the key OR do I need to prime the oil pump such as when you first build a fresh motor?
The motor is a 347 stroker motor with forged rotating assembly, hydraulic cam and lifters, synthetic oil (Ken something brand, can't remember) if that makes any difference.
And because I know we all like pics
...
Thanks in advance.
