i just found out that both sides of windsheild's black seals are ripped off from end tip of door when it is closed, did anyone have same problem? and how can it be fix?
Yep what he said.sleeper said:This is normal on all '04's and I think also '05's. Take it to the dealership and they will replace weatherstrips under warranty. I think theres a bullitin out on this also.

If it's part of a TSB, it should cost $0.00.DRamSrt10 said:if i went to dealership and have my seal replaced and what will it be cost? since i dont know if i have warrant
TSB's are not lifetime warranties. They are covered under the basic warranty guidlines.Kevan said:If it's part of a TSB, it should cost $0.00.
If they want to charge you, go to a different dealership (and never go back to that first one).
It's about $11 in parts and about 2 minutes of labor. I didn't even get out of my truck when the guy did mine.
And there's no reason for them to pop your hood.
At all.
There is a 3 year/36K warranty that comes with the vehicle. If you have not exceeded either of these then the dealer should replace them under the warranty/TSB. You pull into the dealer service lane, the service tech comes over and you say "I'd like my torn weatherstripping replaced please". He will either get someone to do it or have to order the parts. He won't be looking for a reason not to honor the warranty. They make money off of DC for doing such work. They usually only turn down warranty work if there is a fear they won't get paid for it (ie. A performance part has been installed that directly contributed to another parts failure). At least that's been my experience.DRamSrt10 said:that means i will need buy seals part for $11 or cheap then i can try do it myself
There is a 3 year/36K warranty that comes with the vehicle. Your thinking extended warranty that covers the vehicle past the manufactures warranty. If your under 3 years/36K miles, your good to go.DRamSrt10 said:right, but i think i did not pay any to get warrant. but i can still try go to dealership and ask to get it replaced and see what they said
If your within their warranty limits, there is no reason for them to say no unless they're just being jerks. If that happens, try another dealer. Be nice with them and they should treat you fairly. Good luck.DRamSrt10 said:if dealership said no, i can just rub it in their face! THANKS SILVRSRT10!
