I saw smoke right after the truck started to knock and it was a minute after that, that the check engine light went off. All were a day late and a dollar short as they say. The company's part that failed is examining their part. Obviously they are quite interested, as this is not the only one out there.

greatone61 said:CarDude, hopefully all works out for you. The dealer may try to screw you in what they replace on the motor. Make sure you fight so you don't get stuck with parts that may be damaged.
