Wanted to thank a couple guys. I made a post a while back about the steering wheel emems for a yellowfever on which color sequence would work the best. Amtrucker22 sent me both patterns in the mail for nothing, I didnt even pay to ship them. Yellow Venom for being just a great guy and friend trying to setup a local club in our area and being concerned about my blown up truck. Also to ROE for spending time on the telephone helping me with questions and sending products. Also to JMB for there great products, shipping times, and overall concern on product fitment. One more to Stinker for spending a shat load of time for us searching new products, fighting for the best prices on group buys, etc. This is just a great place to be, meet people and learn tons. I am super glad I found this place.

I just want to say that buying my truck has changed my life. First I have had the pleasure of meeting most of the long time members here, and I feel lucky that I can count all of them as friends. I have had such warm memories from all the GTGs my son and I have attended. Many people here have enrichened my heart with their geniune carring for others. I have many times thought what my life would be like if I hadn't bought my truck and found first the NFFF, and then of course this place.

I can also say that this place has also brought me the greatest happiness a man can find, a true partner in life, Alex. She has totally changed my outlook on life, for the BETTER. I never thought anything like this would happen to me, but I am damn glad to say it has. Thank you Alex.

To all here, I want to say thank you for all the friendship, and great memories. I am very much looking forward to very many more.

1 very lucky SOB, Bill.

You know its hard to single out one person to put on here, yet the this post would never end if you put everyone with class.

But I met a guy for the first time this weekend, was willing to help everyone anytime he could with just about any problem. Kenny AKA NBT. That man attended to everyones truck when it rained helped out at the track, helped todd with his truck, the list goes on so.......... Ken here is to you brother thanks!

Where else on the web but here can you have an instant family just by signing in? I won't speak for Kenny, but it is through everyone in here that I have literally been able to stand on my feet again. The outpouring of compassion and generosity from every person in here is overwhelming, and continues to amaze me. There are days when I just don't want to (or can't) get out of bed and I come on here and always find a little serendipity, a laugh, a cry....a family. I am reminded of what my best friend says "sometimes you make plans....and God laughs. But that's what friends and family are for to help hold you up when you are down." I thank God for all the friends we have made here over time.

I don't post much anymore but I do check in quite a bit.....This Forum helped me in a time of need.....not with dollars I was not in that type of need......it was my Mother in Law Gigi (who is still my avatar) the support this group displayed during the time Gigi was diagnosed with Cancer to the day she died........I will NEVER FORGET all the encouragement you gave Vickie and I and Gigi....I showed her the thread that was started on her behalf and the kind words everyone said it made her feel good during a very difficult time..........THANK YOU

Walt

I second this ! I even saw Kenny/NBT washing trucks for other members to help get the lovebugs off the front.

I am definately very lucky to have him as my partner in life. He has a big heart and will do just about anything for someone just because that's the way he is. Kenny's name should be defined in Webster's under altruistic. (and he definately keeps me entertained!!:D )

Thanks Ken, and everyone else who helped to push, pull, turn a wrench, or just offer an opinion. If it wasn't for all of you, we'd still be at the gas station. Truly a family effort:congrats: :congrats: :congrats:

I don't know where to start. Like Griff'sSRT said, there isn't an easy way to single out one person. Here are a few stories from the PCB GTG..

Stinker's Brutal 10 broke far from home as a result of running hard at the track. Big Ernie (IH8CHEVYS) stepped up and offered Stinker his truck without hesitation while he arranged to have the Brutal 10 personally delivered back home for Tony. I was in awe.

Kenny (NBT), this outstanding man unselfishly went out of his way to make it around to everyone's truck no matter how big or small the need; offering whatever services he could to keep the smiles going. He certainly went above and beyond for the group and showed he had te biggest heart, bar none..

EMT made the trip bringing his huge grill and cooking for the group while we all we enjoying ourselves at the last pool party. The food was excellent and did NOT go unappreciated.

Griff'sSRT organized a team of helpers made up of himself, me, Kenny, AMTrucker22, FlyingLow, Stinker, and Scrambler1 (maybe more).. These guys all jumped up to aide Labontecsi when he was in need to have his truck pushed up into Scrambler1's trailer at the Shell gas station he was stranded in... Yes I was there too but I'm not here to talk about me.. I don't know HOW many guys had a hand in handling Todd's ordeal. Kudos to FastFood for recognizing the grounding issue with it. My hat is off to you fine gentlemen.

Mutt... What can I say? He continued to put in work unselfishly keeping everyone's cups full of the good stuff that he was whipping up with his blender and chemestry set.

Eddie allowed his family's privacy to be intruded upon designating his hotel room as "Ground Zero." Eddie and his son Jase made sure everyone was content and comfortable. I can only hope I am blessed with a son like Jase in the future.

Stinker is always dependable to take charge and coordinate what he can to accomodate the needs of others.

No doubt.. I almost wanted my truck to break down to see you all putting your heads together about it. Great damn effort..:congrats:

I hope I don't miss anyone but here are some of the fine folks that I want to mention :

Stinker : talked me into running my truck on the track /what a blast !

Fstjack : adjusted my CalTracs for me

FATJACK : loaned me his air pump and chair / Sorry about the chair

Justin,Ironhead,Marc : loaning me tools to get my shifter tightened

Venom Power : getting me hooked up with my e-mail

FATJACK and others : compliments on my exhaust tone

MUTT : great drinks !

Alexis : what a classy lady ! thanks for the conversation ! You gave me something to think about :)

money pit and wife : really enjoyed my time with you guys !!

These are just the things I remember right now.I am sure that I will think of more later. Thanks to all of you ! I will treasure the one-to-one conversations more than anything. Thanks to all of you that talked with me ! I am not a naturally outgoing person,so it takes a bit to get me talking (or alcohol )
This weekend will be long remembered fondly by me.

Just like Griff said.......this past weekend was the first time I got to meet Ken, one hell of a good guy. The man goes out of his way to help anyone!!!!!!!
Pleasure to meet ya Ken!

This was the first time I've had the chance to meet Ken, truely a class guy. He helped at the track, detailed trucks (no cars though!), helped with Todd's truck, nevermind he's a great guy to hang out with and talk to. Ken you gotta bring the 454 next year!

Smoke aka FlyingLow was able to be coerced into staying into Sat despite trying to leave. He was kind enough to take Todd to the parts store at least once instead of relaxing during his last hours there. Greg (fastfood) also made at least one trip. Tony (Stinker) was all over that truck as well.

Thanks to the recovery crew for helping retrieve Todd's truck from the Shell station. Couldn't have been done without everyone's help. Especially thanks to Mark (Griff'sSRT) for pointing out that we could go get the truck to safety, you gotta keep your eye on him around the pool but his heart is in the right place!

Ernie (IH8CEVYS) impressed us all by lending Stinker his SRT and arranging for Stinkers truck to be delivered to NC today. Ernie, truely a first class move! Glad you made it back, not by much but you made it.

MUTT the ultimate bar tender!! This man unselfishly made drinks all day while everyone else partied at the pool. Well he had to do something spectacular to make up for his, um, special guest Friday night!!

Thanks again to EMT, his wife, and his dad for the great food. Ya'll need to hang out more next time!

There are MANY other things that impressed me that I'll remember later so if I didn't mention it here don't feel left out. This whole group impresses me, people of all ages from all walks of life are somehow brought together by a silly pickup truck, and yet we all get along and have a blast together. My hat is off to all of you!
